Nico "Konik" Sardet is an innovative young artist who works in all media. In addition to graphic design, photography, and painting, he is a skilled draftsman, sculptor, graffiti artist, and printmaker. Born in Nice, France to an American mother and French father, Nico displayed prodigious artistic talent and curiosity in the natural world from the time he picked up his first crayon.

Nico grew up in La Gaude, a small village in the hills above Nice where the Alps meet the Mediterranean. Living between city, mountains and sea, he developed a keen sense of his relationships with the world around him. Through vivid, energetic, and at times humorous compositions, Nico responds to his environment by giving attention to both the rawness of the human soul and the beauty of urban and natural landscapes. One hears Nico's distinctive tone beneath the surface of his works, balancing technique and imagination, French ingenuity and American style, mature artistic sensibility and youthful flare.

As well as the arts, Nico pursues many other interests such as soccer, cooking, surfing, and snowboarding. Today, he lives and works in San Francisco, California, and retains dual French-American citizenship.
